The LoRaWAN network has been deployed to organize Smart lighting in the parking lot of the “ART MALL” shopping center.
In the parking area of the “ART MALL” shopping center, together with partners – Infomir, 64 smart fixtures “TM Jooby” were installed and included in the IoT Ukraine network. The solution allowed to achieve savings in lighting – 60%.
In “ART MALL”, resource conservation is seen in two key areas – technical and administrative:
– Technical – when you, relatively speaking, change an old bulb to a more modern one.
– Administrative – when someone turns it on and on time.
It is smart technology that expands the possibilities of these two areas, since both of them have their own impasse: when there is no perfect lamp for light output and there is no way to control lighting (if we are talking about parking, you can either turn on the light in the entire parking lot or turn off the entire parking lot). The smart lamp extends both of these areas. We can manage each individual lamp, and the administrative component of this issue extends to the fact that we can separately make light or dark zones, depending on the traffic in our parking lot.
The administration of the shopping center has already estimated the economic effect of introducing reasonable lighting.
